The industry standard for waterproof protection level is 1.6 inches ( 4 cm ) above the board of the boots. Hillman destroys that standard by providing a boot that stays waterproof when you step into water 5 inches (12 cm) deep! That’s over 3X the depth, so you can move through muddy terrain, marshes, or even along riverbanks and never get your feet wet.
