IKA privacy policy
Last updated 1 November 2026.
This policy covers IKA, the in-house assistant software of Hillman, the company behind the Hillman hunting shops. IKA is used only by our own team, on the company's own Google accounts. It is not available to customers or to the public.
What Google user data IKA accesses
- Gmail: IKA reads mail in the company's own mailboxes. It does not send, change or delete mail.
- Google Drive, Sheets and Docs: IKA reads and writes files, spreadsheets and documents in the company's own Drive.
- Account identity: the e-mail address of the signed-in company account, so IKA knows which mailbox it is working in.
How the data is used
IKA uses this data for one purpose: running the company's own business records. It reads supplier invoices and customer mail, files documents and keeps the company's spreadsheets up to date. It does not use the data for advertising, for profiling or for anything else.
Where the data is stored
IKA runs on one computer owned by the company. Its sign-in tokens are kept in that computer's encrypted keychain. Mail and files stay in Google's own services. IKA keeps no copy on third-party servers and sends nothing to a server of its own.
Sharing
IKA never sells Google user data and never shares it with anyone outside the company. It does not pass the data on to other apps or services.
Deleting data and revoking access
The owner of each company account can stop IKA at any time by removing its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. From that moment IKA can no longer read that account. On request we also delete the sign-in token stored on the computer and any data IKA holds for that account. Write to the contact address below.
Google API Services User Data Policy
IKA's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
