Hunting Boots & Cold-Weather Gear | Waterproof & Insulated for All Terrain

Built for Hunters Who Push Beyond the Comfort Zone

Every serious hunter knows the feeling. Feet going numb on a pre-dawn hike into the backcountry, hunting boots that turn into soggy dead weight after crossing a creek, or insulation that fails the second temperatures hit single digits.

Standard hunting gear simply can't handle what real hunters demand from it. Whether you're posting up for whitetail before first light, chasing elk through the Rockies at 10,000 feet, or putting in dawn-to-dusk days where comfort isn't optional, it's what keeps you effective in the field.

That's why we engineered Hillman hunting boots and technical apparel. This is gear built to perform when failure isn't an option. Featuring NASA-grade Aerogel insulation, Vibram Arctic Grip outsoles, and waterproof protection tested to -22°F, Hillman delivers the performance advantage serious hunters need in the field.

Hillman®

Invented to Elevate Your Hunt

About Us

We've been making hunting gear for 20 years now, and honestly, we've seen some absolute rubbish out there. Boots that pack in after half a season. Jackets that let water through the moment you need them most. "High-tech" insulation that leaves you standing there freezing your bits off. We got fed up with it, to be honest. So we started Hillman to build gear properly.

We don't design this stuff at a desk and cross our fingers. Every piece gets absolutely battered in the field first. Freezing mornings. Long days through brutal terrain. The kind of conditions that destroy most kit. If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't leave our workshop.

Take our hunting boots. Aerogel insulation—the same stuff NASA developed for space missions—paired with Vibram Arctic Grip soles that actually grip on ice. Italian leather. A 1mm steel cable lacing system that won't snap. These aren't marketing tricks. They're answers to problems every proper hunter deals with.

What we're after is straightforward: make gear that works. Keep you warm when it's bitter. Keep you dry when it's chucking it down. Give you grip when it's slippery as hell. Let you focus on the hunt instead of messing around with dodgy kit.

That's Hillman®. No nonsense. Just gear that does what it's meant to.

Common Questions

Absolutely. Every pair uses a waterproof membrane that keeps your feet bone dry in heavy rain, streams, and wet terrain. We've tested them in proper downpours—the kind where everything else is soaked through. Your feet stay dry.
They run true to size. If you're a UK 10, order a UK 10. The design accounts for thick hunting socks without feeling cramped. If you're between sizes or have wider feet, go up half a size.
It's lighter and warmer. Traditional insulation adds bulk and weight. Aerogel keeps you just as warm—if not warmer—without the extra mass. It's what NASA uses for space missions because it works in extreme temperatures without weighing you down.
A bit, yeah. The Italian leather needs a few wears to properly mold to your feet. Wear them around for a few days before a big hunt. Nothing excessive—just enough to soften the leather and get them comfortable.
Clean off mud and dirt after each hunt. Let them dry naturally—never near direct heat. Condition the leather every few months with a quality leather conditioner. That's it. Treat them right and they'll last for years.
That's exactly what the Vibram Arctic Grip soles are for. They grip on ice better than anything else we've tested. Frozen ground, icy hillsides, frost-covered rocks—the traction is brilliant. You're not slipping around.
One year warranty against manufacturing defects. If something's wrong with the materials or craftsmanship, we'll replace it or fix it. Normal wear and tear isn't covered—these are hunting boots, they're meant to get properly used.
Absolutely. They're built for full days in the field—tramping through rough terrain, crossing streams, climbing hills. The support and cushioning hold up over long distances. Your feet won't be screaming at you by the end of the day.
Yes, we stock half sizes from UK 6 to UK 13. Getting the right fit matters, so we make sure there's an option that works for you.
Orders ship within 1-2 business days. UK delivery takes 2-4 days. International shipping varies by location but typically arrives within 7-10 days. You'll get tracking info as soon as it leaves our workshop.
